Piercan, (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", "our") operates the website on which you are browsing (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"). This page explains our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Data when you use our Service and the choices you have regarding this data. We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Types of data collected

1 - Personal Data
When you use our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain Personal Data that can be used to contact or identify you (e.g. your surname, first name, postal and e-mail details, connection data). Nominative Personal Data may include:

We may collect information about how you access and use the Service ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the date and time of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

We use cookies and other similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service, and we retain certain information.
Cookies are low-volume data files that may contain an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and are stored on your device. Other tracking technologies such as pixels, beacons and scripts are also used to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our Service.

The cookies used on our Service are the following:
Session cookies: these record technical information as you move from one page to another on our Service. These cookies have a limited lifespan and expire when you close your browser.

Functionality cookies: these are used to memorize your preferences and settings.

Audience measurement cookies and tracking: these are used to collect anonymous information about users of our Service. The information is used to compile reports and help us improve our Service.
- Google Tag Manager (see ‘Google Analytics’ below): With the exception of data contained in standard HTTP request logs, all of which are deleted within 14 days of receipt, Google Tag Manager does not collect, store or share any information about visitors to our clients‘ properties, including the URLs of pages visited.
- The LinkedIn Insight Tag collects data about members’ visits to your website, such as URL, referrer, IP address, device and browser characteristics (user agent) and timestamp. IP addresses are truncated or encrypted (when used to reach members on all devices) and direct member identifiers are deleted within seven days to make the data pseudonymous. The remaining pseudonymous data is then deleted within 180 days.

• Sending commercial solicitations by e-mail on offers and services similar to those ordered by customers: the legal basis for processing is the company's legitimate interest (article 6.1.f) of the European Data Protection Regulation), which is to promote our products to our customers;
• Sending commercial solicitations by e-mail/SMS on other products offered by Piercan: the legal basis for processing is consent (article 6.1.a) of the European Data Protection Regulation), as required by article L. 34-5 of the French Post and Electronic Communications Code;
• Bookkeeping involving the retention of data for a period of 10 years: the legal basis for processing is the legal obligation (Cf. article 6.1.c of the European Data Protection Regulation).

Data category

Identity: title, surname, first name, address, delivery address, telephone number, e-mail address, date of birth, internal processing code enabling customer identification, data relating to registration on opposition lists;
Order data: transaction number, purchase details, purchase amounts, invoice payment data (payments, outstanding payments, discounts), service rating;
Payment details: credit card number, expiry date of credit card, visual cryptogram (which is immediately deleted);
Data required for loyalty and prospecting campaigns: purchase history.


1 - Children’s privacy:
• Our Service is not intended for persons under the age of 18 (“Children”).
• We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from persons under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verifying parental consent, we will take steps to delete such information from our servers.

Data recipients

• Piercan’s customer and billing departments are the recipients of all categories of data.

• The persons in charge of providing the Service are recipients of the customer file, which includes the customer’s identity, address and telephone number.

• The e-mail addresses of customers who have agreed to this are forwarded to our commercial partners.

We may use third-party companies and individuals to facilitate the provision of our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, to provide services related to the Service or to help us analyze how our Service is used.
These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are prohibited from disclosing or using it for any other purpose.

We may use third party Service Providers to monitor and analyse the use of our Service.

3 - Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google that tracks and reports on website traffic. Google uses the collected data to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the data collected to contextualize and personalize ads in its own advertising network.
You can prevent your activities within the Service from being made available to Google Analytics by installing the
Google Analytics Opt out browser add-on. This plug-in prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript code (ga.js, analytics.js and dc.js) from sharing information about visit activity with Google Analytics.

4 - Links to other websites
Our Service may contain links to other websites that we do not operate. If you click on a third party link, you will be redirected to that third party's website. We strongly recommend that you review the privacy policy of each website you visit.

Data communication

Piercan will not share or disclose your Personal Data, except in the following cases:

• When you have requested information from us that requires us to disclose your Personal Data to Piercan's suppliers and/or service partners;

Piercan retains your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the fulfillment of the aforementioned purposes. In general, data is kept for the time necessary to defend Piercan's rights in court.

Changes to the present privacy policy

Piercan reserves the right to modify this privacy policy from time to time. The new version will then be posted on this page of the website. The modifications will be effective as soon as they are put online. If you access the website after these modifications have been made, you will be deemed to have accepted them.
