Find the item reference that matches your need

1 - A glove combines three features:

• its type (glove box glove, insulator glove, cuff...)
• its
material (CSM, EPDM, Neoprene...)
• its
thickness (4/10 mm, 6/10 mm...)
The combination of these three characteristics enables us to assign mechanical and physico-chemical properties to each glove, leading to
certification.

2 - a glove comes in several articles:

Articles are differentiated by shape, glove round diameter, length, size, hand shape (anatomical ambidextrous), fastening type, etc.
You'll find
article references (e.g. 10750 Y 7.5 E4 5) at the bottom of each glove catalog page.

Understanding what an item reference is

1 - Find the first 2 digits of the reference number

Your choice of shape and glove ring diameter will give you the first two digits of the part number. Measure the diameter of your glove ring and refer to the table below.

2 - Select your glove length

- There are essentially 2 standard lengths: 750 mm and 800 mm. Some models are also available in 900 mm length.
- For other models, please contact us.

4 - select the size

Generally speaking, the sizes available depend on the materials and glove model chosen.

5 - select the thickness

PIERCAN offers two main thicknesses: 4/10 mm (E4) and 6/10 mm (E6). Some models are also available in 8/10 mm (E8).

6 - bead diameter

The bead diameter is 6 mm for Neoprene and natural rubber, and 5 mm (5) for other materials.

glove marking

1. The marking consists first of all of the reference. For example, opposite; the shape and diameter of the glove ring (97), the length (800), the material (Eb), the size (9), the thickness of the glove (E4) and the diameter of the bead.

2. The reference is followed by the computer code (003039), the case number (FR330010), the batch number (1901) and the expiry date (31/01/2027).
